ABOUT US

PROMAD FOUNDATION is a non-profit organisation combining evidence-based strategies with civic technology to bridge the gaps that exist between citizens at grassroots communities and the government to strengthen accountability, and participatory governance for efficient implementation of projects, programs, and policies for sustainable development.
PROMAD, founded in 2022 and is fully registered in Nigeria by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on February 16, 2022. The founding of the organisation was driven by the successes recorded in our FollowTheProjects missions after three years of tracking, engaging grassroots communities and reporting public projects using technology.

What We Do

Social Accountability & service delivery

As a civic-tech organisation, we work to empower citizens and communities with data, information and policy analysis for budget advocacy and to track the implementation of public projects and demand for improved service delivery in Nigeria.

Enabling open and participatory elections and governance through civic engagement and community empowerment programs. Citizens have a civic duty to vote and be voted for, participate in decision-making and promoting dissent for youth and women.

Amplifying grassroots voices for budgeting

We deploy civic tech tools to empower and engage underrepresented communities for participation in budget-making. We conduct needs assessment, empowering citizens to nominate projects that meets their needs for adoption into annual budget.
