PROMAD Announces Accelerating Youth Participation in Governance Project

Unveiling of Accelerating Youth Participation in Governance

We’re excited to announce our new project, Accelerating Youth Participation in Governance #AYGPProject supported by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund and LEAP Africa in the realisation of empowering young people to play active roles in the #NigeriaWeWant.

Why the AYPG Project?

Our findings in a policy memo released in April 2023, a product of our NYFF’s supported research on youth civic participation in FCT, revealed that youth have inadequate skills and knowledge required to engage government agencies and elected leaders.

The Aim of the AYPG Project

We aim to strengthen citizens’ participation in governance to demand participatory, accountable and transparent governance and government. This includes how public resources are allocated to citizens’ and communities’ priorities and demand effective implementation.

The Objective of the AYPG Project

The #AYPGProject has three objectives as indicated in the flyer. The project will focus on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for the next six months. Join us as we work towards achieving the #NigeriaWeWant for all.

Our Partners

The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) and LEAP Africa.
