PROMAD, with support from the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), is pleased to announce the Strengthening Participation, Accountability and Transparency States (SPATS) Project in the North Central region of Nigeria.
INTRODUCTION
The SPATS Project is designed to strengthen youth participation, accountability, and transparency in governance processes, ensuring that young people are not only heard but are actively shaping the development of their communities.
For years, young people in Nigeria have called for greater inclusion in governance, not just as beneficiaries, but as active participants. Promad Foundation is answering that call through the Strengthening Participation, Accountability and Transparency in States (SPATS Project), now expanding into the North Central region, funded by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF).
PROJECT OBJECTIVES

- To conduct research and advocacy for the domestication of the Youth Policy to facilitate participation and reforms for youth development.
- Upgrade and deploy the #FollowTheProjects civic tech platform to raise public oversight and drive accountability and transparency in tracking public projects in the North Central States.
