One of the most impactful highlights from the just-concluded High-Level Media Roundtable was the chance to support people who are already doing important work in their communities.
Through our micro-grant support, PROMAD Foundation empowered 6 organisations and 6 individuals committed to amplifying citizens’ voices and pushing for accountable and participatory governance. These are changemakers who are deeply rooted in their communities, in amplifying, engaging, and advocating for what truly matters to the people they serve.

For many of them, this support goes beyond funding.
It’s about having the capacity to do more, reaching more people, strengthening their work, and sustaining the impact they’ve already begun to build in their communities. It’s about feeling seen and supported in the work they do to better the lives of everyday Nigerians.
The feedback we received was incredibly encouraging. Many of the grantees shared their appreciation and, more importantly, their commitment to using the support to continue amplifying citizens’ concerns and driving change where it’s needed most.
Moments like this remind us why this work is important.
Indeed, real impact doesn’t happen in isolation; it grows when more people are equipped, supported, and empowered to take action in their own communities. And we’re proud to play a part in their journey.
